Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Massapequa, NY NY Health (NYH) is excited to expand our medical services to include the Center for Urology, Primary Care, The Nephrology Center and The Department of Physical Therapy.
With multiple locations spanning from the Bronx and Queens to Suffolk County, our health care experts are available and prepared to put your health first.
In this role you will:
Float as needed to several locations.
Mange patient intakes (Record accurate patient information).
Collect and process lab specimens, perform venipuncture, flu/covid/strep testing.
Conduct audiometry testing, spirometry, PFTS, nebulizer treatments, and urine tests.
Measure and record patients' vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations.
Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
Provide assistance to physicians during examinations.
Perform venipuncture & point of care testing.
Administer EKGs.
We require:
Able and willing to float as needed.
Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School Diploma At least 1 year of experience.
Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred.
Proficiency in Word/Excel.
Hours:
Monday-Friday and alternating Saturdays Salary up to $22 per hour.
